More and Better Financing for Data is an initiative coordinated by the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data. Open Data Watch provides technical and advisory support and led the production of this pamphlet.

Meeting the data challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will require increased investments in international and national data and statistical systems. In this pamphlet, we make the case for investing in data, highlight the current state of financing for statistics, identify funding gaps, and make the case for not just more but better financing for data.
